Which Skip?
When hiring a skip you need to be sure that the skip is the right size for the job – You save loads of time and money by getting a skip that’s slightly too large, rather than slightly too small. That’s because overloading a skips is illegal.

6 Yard Skip
6 Yard Skips are the most popular for garden jobs, bathroom and kitchen rip outs and are used by the building trade and for larger domestic jobs. 6 Yard Skips have very generous proportions and are able to accommodate between 65 and 85 rubble/black bags. Note: When hiring a 6 Yard Ski you will need a local authority permit if the skip is to be located on the public highway – AG Evans will arrange this for you and add the cost to our hire charge.
12 Yard Skip
The 12 Yard Skip is higher than the standard 6 Yard Skip and is suitable for the building trade and the biggest of domestic jobs. Our 12 Yard Skip can accommodate between 180 and 240 rubble/black bags. Note: When hiring a 12 Yard Skip you will need a local authority permit if the skip is to be located on the public highway – AG Evans will arrange this for you and add the cost to our hire charge.
Roll-On / Roll-Off Skip.
For much bigger projects that involve larger volumes of waste we are able to provide 20 or 40 yard ‘Roll-On/Roll-Off’ skips. These skips are able to take large amounts of waste and due to their size you are not always able to secure a local authority permit to locate them on the public highway – please call us for more information.
